Rolls-Royce Spectre
The Spectre is the first electric car produced by Rolls-Royce and it is arguably the most luxurious electric car in the world. It’s silent and rapid with 584 horsepower and 329 miles of range making it an ideal option for going electric in style. It’s extremely comfortable with deep lambswool carpets, cushions for your head and super soft leather upholstery. Whilst it might not have the whiskey decanters like the Phantom it is still a beautiful space with plenty of colour options, starlit doors, a bespoke sound system, massaging and heated seats and much more.

Bentley Bentayga
The Bentayga channels Bentley’s famous craftsmanship into a luxury SUV. It comes with plenty of personalisation options with endless colour, trim and stitching combinations. For maximum opulence the extended wheelbase version provides rear passengers with more legroom and space to recline in sumptuous seats. They even get their own touch-screen tablet to control massage and heating settings. The Bentayga comes with either a thumping V8 engine or a V6 hybrid with up to 25 miles of all-electric range.

Ferrari Amalfi
The Ferrari Amalfi replaces the Roma with more power, a new look and an undated infotainment system. With a twin-turbo V8 and 640 horsepower on tap, the Amalfi is heavenly to drive. Despite its performance-focus, the Amalfi is Ferraris most user-friendly sports car, tame enough to enjoy day-to-day but thrilling when pushed. It’s the perfect blend of comfort and driving pleasure.

Aston Martin DBX
The Aston Martin DBX wraps the brand’s performance and style into a more practical luxury SUV package. The most powerful DBX S version packs a V8 engine and it can accelerate from 0–60 mph in just 3.1 seconds. Despite its power, it is practical enough for everyday use with generous interior space and updated technology.

Volvo EX90
The Volvo EX90 is the fully electric version of the seven-seat XC90. It is incredibly smooth and quite to drive with a range of well over 300 miles on a single charge. It’s roomy and oh so chic with its minimalist Scandinavian design and choice of synthetic, leather or wool blend upholstery. Our personal favourite feature is the 25-speaker three-dimensional Bowers & Wilkins stereo; it’s definitely well worth the upgrade.

BMW X7
This flagship SUV is the closest thing to first-class luxury yet produced by a mass manufacturer. The X7 comes with a great BMW infotainment system, three-section panoramic sunroof and a 4D sound experience. Our X7 test car came with navy and cream leather on the seats, which was marvellous.

Porsche 911
The 911 blends performance with everyday luxury and it’s been a go-to sports car for decades thanks to its stunning handling and fantastic engineering. The Porsche 911 won the Best Luxury Car 2026 at our Drivers Choice Awards for a second year running for its performance, looks and build quality.

Range Rover
The Range Rover is the archetypal luxury SUV combining comfort and refinement with genuine off-road capability. It’s stylish, sophisticated and a true status symbol. Our Editorial Director, Erin Baker lived with one and loved its beautiful interior, huge boot and the four-wheel steering which made it a dream to manoeuvre. While there are plenty of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid versions to choose from, we reckon the all-new electric Range Rover will be well-worth the wait when it eventually arrives.
